Date for arrival

We have a tentative date for Tim's homecoming. But it's the Marine Corps and anything can happen (I wouldn't be surprised if it does.) But currently we expect him to arrive on September 12. Only 17 days and counting down. This is a little earlier than expected. When he left we made a paper chain to hang around the kitchen. It was 200+ links long. Yesterday when we found out this exact date, I went to the end of the chain and adjusted the number of links left. Charles started a list of things we need to do to get ready, such as make a big sign, plan his birthday party (Chas'), and shop for Daddy's favorite foods. They are excited, obvioulsy.
